 Team MGS – Artistic Gymnastics 2019

“Let us describe the education of our men. What then is the education to be? Perhaps we could hardly find better than that which the experience of the past has already discovered, which consists, I believe, in gymnastic, for the body, and music for the mind.”

These words came from the Greek philosopher Plato who considered the ancient form of gymnastics an important part of a young person’s education. Several millenia may have passed, but these ideas still hold true even as gymnastics has evolved into the mix of artistry and physicality that it is today.

As our girls learn to Master, Grow and Serve in all aspects of their lives, gymnastics seems to be a microcosm of many lessons that life has to offer. We spend countless hours together – training, shuttling around and competing.So we value the benefits and treasure the strong bonds this noblest of sports has forged among us. And out of this, many of us have witnessed our daughters growing in poise, grace and confidence.

This site has been set up to document our experiences together, and is dedicated to everyone who has been part of this adventure.

Remember – gymnastics is not a destination, but a journey.
